Job summary

Curtiss-Wright Corporation in Ottawa, ON is seeking a Material Handler for the 3:30 pm to 12:00 midnight shift to support Materials Handling and Inventory Control. You will process material through receiving to production, perform kitting and order picking, maintain FIFO, and help improve processes while keeping SAP and MES systems accurate.

Candidates should have 2–4 years in a warehouse, experience with SAP, strong computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds; English proficiency

Qualifications

• Generally requires some Secondary School education, and 2-4 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Process material at count areas.
• Delivery of material to stockrooms, including verification and maintaining First-in-first-out policy.
• Perform variety of kitting and order picking functions.
• Maintaining policies and procedures, training others as required.
• Recommend process improvements.
• Perform Cycle Count activities.
• In Inventory Control, maintenance of inventory accuracy, and resolving discrepancies.
• Picking kits and delivering raw and semi-finished materials to the production floor.
• Putting stock away in the warehouse.
• Preparing all related documents in strict accordance with current corporate procedures.
