Job summary

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is seeking a Material Handler/Coordinator for our project in Nisku, AB.

The role focuses on receiving, inspecting, and controlling materials, ensuring traceability and proper labeling, and supporting material movements across fabrication and assembly areas. You will coordinate with production teams, ensure availability, and report material status, while adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• CSTS 2020 certification required.
• WHMIS 2015 certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate receipt and inspection of incoming materials.
• Verify received materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and material test reports.
• Ensure material traceability requirements are maintained.
• Coordinate material identification and labeling procedures.
• Manage non-conforming materials in conjunction with Quality Control.
• Issue materials to production crews and fabrication shops.
• Coordinate material movement between laydown areas, fabrication bays, and assembly locations.
• Ensure fabrication foremen have visibility of material availability and shortages.
• Support project teams with material status reporting.

Position Details

• Schedule Rotation: Monday to Friday
• Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement

What You Will Be Working On

Receiving & Material Control

• Coordinate receipt and inspection of incoming materials.
