Job summary

Ryerson is seeking a Material Handler for its Brampton warehouse. You will be responsible for day-to-day staging, packing, and picking material for shipments using proper equipment.

The role operates Sunday through Friday from 10:00pm to 6:00am, with shift premiums depending on times. Responsibilities include picking/staging feedstock, stocking inbound shipments, preparing loads, breaking down bulk bundles, packaging to customer specs, and using SAP to confirm shipping/receiving.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of similar job experience.
• Experience in the metal industry is preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of forklift, counterbalance or overhead crane experience required.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic computer skills and/or comfort using a computer.
• Physical ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision, hearing, and mobility.

Responsibilities

• Preparing loads for production.
