Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort is seeking a Master Electrician to join our team in Canada. You will diagnose, repair, and install electrical systems in homes, while upholding safety and customer service standards. The role emphasizes growth, professional development, and reliable scheduling.

You must be a certified Electrician with a 309A license, have 5+ years of experience, and be registered with the Ontario College of Trades. A clean driver’s abstract and strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Accurately estimate repair costs and communicate value to homeowners.

• Perform diagnostics, repair, maintenance, service and installation of equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulatory requirements.
• Educate customers on electrical work in homes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of modern equipment and regulations.
• Explain the value of Reliance products, services and programs on every call.

What will you do?

• Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
• Represent Reliance in a professional, courteous and customer service oriented manner on each and every call.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems in domestic electrical systems, including but is not limited to fault-finding, panel changes, generator installation, knob and tube removal, home rewiring etc.
• Accurately estimate repair costs, fix right the first time and continual value-added communication with the homeowner
• Set priorities and work assignments to meet established deadlines
• Perform diagnostics, repair, maintain, service and install equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Perform general and specific equipment inspections
• Educate customers on electrical work in homes
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations
• Explain the value of Reliance products, services and programs on every call
