Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort is seeking an Electrician in Barrie, Ontario to join a growth‑oriented team. You will diagnose and repair electrical systems in homes, estimate costs, and communicate clearly with homeowners to ensure quality work.

Applicants must hold a Red Seal Electrician License, have a valid driver’s license, and be physically capable. The role offers training, reliable shifts, and opportunities for advancement within a leader in home comfort services.

Qualifications

• Must have Red Seal Electrician License.
• Must have a driver’s license with clean driver's abstract.
• Physically capable of performing all work required.

Responsibilities

• Learn and grow as part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
• Represent Reliance professionally on every call.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems in domestic systems, including fault-finding, panel changes, generator installation, knob and tube removal, home rewiring, etc.
• Accurately estimate repair costs and communicate value to homeowners.
• Set priorities and work assignments to meet deadlines.
• Perform diagnostics, repair, maintain, service and install equipment per manufacturer specs.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulatory requirements.
• Perform general and specific equipment inspections.
• Educate customers on electrical work in homes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment and regulations.
• Explain the value of Reliance products and services on every call.

What will you do?
