Job summary

Reliance Home Comfort is seeking a Master Electrician in Canada to join a growth‑driven team. The role involves diagnosing and repairing electrical systems in homes, wiring updates, and advising customers on service options. You will work within safety protocols and contribute to high‑quality customer experiences.

The ideal candidate holds a 309A license, has 5+ years of field experience, and a clean driver’s record. Ontario registration is required.

Qualifications

• Certified Electrician with 309A license and 5+ years of experience.
• Must be registered with the Ontario College of Trades.
• Clean driver’s abstract and valid license required.
• Ability to diagnose and repair domestic electrical systems and follow safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.
• Represent Reliance professionally on every call.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems in domestic systems (panel changes, generator installation, rewiring, etc.).
• Accurately estimate repair costs and communicate with homeowners.
• Adhere to safety rules and regulatory requirements and educate customers.

What will you do?

• Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.


• Represent Reliance in a professional, courteous and customer service oriented manner on each and every call.


• Diagnose and repair electrical problems in domestic electrical systems, including but is not limited to fault-finding, panel changes, generator installation, knob and tube removal, home rewiring etc.


• Accurately estimate repair costs, fixed right the first time and continual value-added communication with the homeowner


• Set priorities and work assignments to meet established deadlines


• Perform diagnostics, repair, maintain, service and install equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications


• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.


• Perform general and specific equipment inspections


• Educate customers on electrical work in homes


• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations


• Explain the value of Reliance products, services and programs on every call

• Required to be a certified Electrician and hold the 309A License


• 5+ years' experience as an Electrician


• Must be registered with the Ontario College of Trades


• Must have a driver’s license with clean drivers abstract
