Reliance Home Comfort is seeking a Master Electrician to join our team in Canada. You’ll diagnose and repair residential electrical systems, ensure safety, and deliver exceptional service on every call.

Qualifications

• Master Electrician License required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean abstract.
• Ability to diagnose and repair residential electrical systems.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Physically capable of demanding field work.

Responsibilities

• Represent Reliance in a professional, courteous manner on each call.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems in residential systems.
• Accurately estimate repair costs and communicate value to homeowners.
• Set priorities to meet deadlines and safety rules.
• Perform diagnostics, repair, maintenance and installation per manufacturer specs.
• Educate customers on electrical work and safety.

What will you do?

• Learn and grow as an important part of a team that cares about Reliance and its customers.

• Represent Reliance in a professional, courteous and customer service-oriented manner on each and every call.
• Diagnose and repair electrical problems in domestic electrical systems, including but is not limited to fault-finding, panel changes, generator installation, knob and tube removal, home rewiring etc.
• Accurately estimate repair costs, fixed right the first time and continual value-added communication with the homeowner
• Set priorities and work assignments to meet established deadlines
• Perform diagnostics, repair, maintain, service and install equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Adhere to all safety rules and procedures and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Perform general and specific equipment inspections
• Educate customers on electrical work in homes
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations
• Explain the value of Reliance products, services and programs on every call

• Must have Master Electrician License
• Must have a driver’s license with clean drivers abstract
• Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position

• Experience in Refrigeration, HVAC, Plumbing, and Mechanics an asset
