Marketing Specialist – ODRA Sweepers

Location: Toronto, ON (Remote)

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Position Overview:

ODRA Sweepers is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Specialist to assist with the execution of marketing activities. This role will support the Marketing Manager with content updates, campaign coordination, sales material creation, and event organization. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and has a passion for B2B marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation, editing, and distribution of marketing materials (brochures, spec sheets, case studies, digital ads, social media posts, audio and video).
• Help maintain and update the company website.
• Support lead generation efforts through email campaigns, online ads, and other channels.
• Organize logistics for trade shows, conventions, and other events (booth prep, materials shipping, vendor coordination).
• Coordinate social media postings under the guidance of the Marketing Manager.
• Track marketing expenses and support the preparation of marketing reports (campaign tracking, lead tracking, event ROI).
• Maintain and update marketing asset libraries (photos, videos, templates).
• Assist with internal communication initiatives.
• Perform other marketing tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in a marketing role.
• Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written communication skills for content updates and social media posts.
• 1-3 years’ experience with digital marketing tools (email platforms, CRM understanding, CMS website editing).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); and platforms or software similar to Canva, and/or Photoshop.
• 1-3 years’ experience with Video Editing tools
• Ability to work independently while taking direction from the Marketing Manager.
• Experience in industrial, construction, heavy equipment, or B2B industries is a strong asset.
