The Marketing Manager (Maternity Leave Contract) reports to the Director of Marketing and is an integral part of the marketing team. This role involves overseeing marketing programs with strategic thinking, analytical skills, creativity, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Above all, you are a people person eager to engage our customers and explore new opportunities to grow the brand.
Job Duties
- Participate in yearly planning and budgeting to strategize and calendar initiatives.
- Manage media planning and execution.
- Lead the implementation of marketing programs, collaborating with District Managers and internal teams.
- Work with agency partners to develop creative briefs and guide creative direction for advertising and public communications, including print, digital, photography, video, and partner assets.
- Oversee content development and updates for customer touchpoints; perform light copywriting.
- Track and analyze marketing effectiveness to optimize campaigns and increase sales.
- Manage loyalty programs, promotions, and content for website and in-app features.
- Establish budgets, document processes, and maintain marketing manuals and store lists for menu boards and in-store materials.
- Present ideas and final deliverables to internal teams.
- Provide weekly updates on project status and budgets.
- Ensure marketing programs align with PR and communication activities.
- Gather customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies and increase conversions.
- Collect competitive information and assist with pricing updates.
- Communicate programs internally and to stores via memos and system messages.
- Create content for the Marketing section of newsletters.
- Manage marketing inventory with warehouse support and replenish as needed.
- Support local store marketing, openings, and events.
- Update and maintain the marketing manual with new processes and checklists.
- Coordinate team and partner meetings and updates.
- Handle weekly invoicing.
Key Qualifications
- 3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in QSR or pizza franchise but not mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience in executing marketing campaigns.
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
- Metrics-driven with a creative eye.
- Creative writing and editing skills.
- Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools.
- Experience with media advertising including print, radio, OOH, and TV.
- Ability to motivate and collaborate with external agencies and vendors.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
