Global Spatial Technology Solutions (GSTS) is a Global Maritime Intelligence company providing solutions to improve decision-making in the maritime and logistics sectors. Our platform, OCIANA, aims to save lives, energy, and protect the environment worldwide through innovative data collection and analysis.

GSTS is expanding its team to support the development and commercialization of OCIANA, which will significantly impact maritime risk management and vessel efficiency globally. ROLE:

We are hiring a Digital Marketing Manager for a 14-month contract, starting June 2025 through August 2026, with potential for extension. Applicants should understand that the role may evolve into a long-term position but this is not guaranteed.

The successful candidate will support the ongoing commercialization of OCIANA, focusing on delivering integrated solutions that enhance real-time decision-making in the maritime industry.

This role is ideal for someone with relevant experience, a strong desire to learn new technologies, and interest in innovative decision-support solutions utilizing AI and Big Data analytics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support all marketing lead initiatives
  • Develop and implement an omni-channel digital marketing strategy, including website, SEO, and social media
  • Manage channel analytics to improve content engagement
  • Collaborate across teams to inform content strategy
  • Design layouts for art and copy, focusing on aesthetics
  • Create collateral such as presentations, brochures, and event materials in collaboration with teams
  • Manage content across platforms including website, email, and social media
  • Provide editorial, creative, and technical support
  • Coordinate with external agencies and service providers
  • Generate content and assets to support campaign goals
  • Support brand strategy and positioning
  • Attend workshops and review publications to maintain technical knowledge
  • Assist with brand awareness and lead generation activities like podcasts, webinars, and sponsorships
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Post-secondary degree with 3+ years in brand strategy, graphic design, or content leadership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative storytelling ability
  • Proficiency with design tools and software
  • Attention to detail and deadline-oriented
BONUS POINTS:
  • Experience with demand generation and business development
  • Knowledge of the maritime industry and current trends
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Candidates must pass a criminal background check and obtain Controlled Goods clearance. Prior work samples are required.
