Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a market development assistant manager to lead a high‑performing team focused on selling financial products and services. You will shape strategic plans, monitor performance, and ensure strong member and client experiences.

You will drive action plans, oversee skills development, and promote efficient, compliant processes aligned with risk management. You will coach staff, drive talent development, and uphold Desjardins’s cooperative values while building lasting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience.
• Mutual fund representative certificate – Autorité des marchés financiers.
• Knowledge of French is required.

Responsibilities

• Support your supervisor by helping to develop business strategies aligned with Desjardins’s priorities.
• Ensure the quality of services and business relationships, and manage the member/client experience.
• Implement and monitor the action plan to achieve target results.
• Lead, coach and motivate the team to develop skills, boost engagement and empower employees.
• Implement and develop a competitive, profitable service offer with partnerships to enhance the member/client experience.
• Ensure the efficiency and continuous improvement of processes, and boost profitability.
