Job summary

Tartigrade Ltd. is seeking a Market Analyst to research trading strategies, define protocols, gather market data, run simulations, and present risk/reward profiles. Training will be provided and strong analytical skills are essential.

The role supports daily performance reporting, monitors live positions, fixes bugs in the automated trading platform, and assists with project management and hardware/software upgrades, reporting directly to the CIO.

Qualifications

GPA > 3.5/4.0 required or strongly preferred.
Proficient in Excel and VBA.
Knowledge of C# and SQL is a plus.
Degree in Finance, Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
Enthusiastic about learning market securities, especially options trading.

Responsibilities

Research and understand trading strategies through training and online research.
Define research protocols and gather, clean, and organize required market data.
Run strategies through the proprietary market simulator and produce risk/reward profiles.
Present findings and insights to the CIO.
Publish daily performance reports and monitor the Fund’s live positions.
Troubleshoot and fix bugs in the automated trading platform.
Assist with project management and contribute to hardware and software upgrades.
Support general Fund operations and collaborate directly with the CIO.
