Job summary

Tartigrade Ltd. is seeking a Market Analyst to research trading strategies, define protocols, gather market data, run simulations, and present risk/reward profiles. Training will be provided and strong analytical skills are essential.

The role supports daily performance reporting, monitors live positions, fixes bugs in the automated trading platform, and assists with project management and hardware/software upgrades, reporting directly to the CIO.

Qualifications

• GPA > 3.5/4.0 required or strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and VBA.
• Knowledge of C# and SQL is a plus.
• Degree in Finance, Computer Science or Engineering preferred.
• Enthusiastic about learning market securities, especially options trading.

Tartigrade Ltd. has identified several potentially lucrative trading strategies that must be tested in a simulated environment before real-money deployment. The Market Analyst will research these strategies by receiving training, conducting online research, defining research protocols, gathering and organizing market data, running simulations using our proprietary market simulator, and presenting risk/reward profiles.

The role also includes supporting the day-to-day operation of the Fund through daily performance reporting, monitoring live positions, fixing bugs in the automated trading platform, assisting with project management, and contributing to hardware and software upgrades. Reporting directly to the CIO, the Analyst will gain practical trading insights. Candidates who demonstrate strong trading skills and whose recommendations lead to profitable strategies may be offered a trading role.
