Job summary

Dynacast Peterborough is seeking a manufacturing engineer to develop and implement new and improved manufacturing processes, procedures and equipment in a high-volume environment. You will study product requirements, run capability studies, document SOPs, and support continuous improvement while meeting safety, quality, and delivery targets.

The role requires a degree or diploma in manufacturing/industrial/mechanical engineering and at least three years' relevant experience, with die cast

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of three years in high-volume manufacturing.
• Die cast/injection molding experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop/improve manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Perform machine/tool capability studies.
• Ensure machine settings follow cycle times and SOPs.
• Analyze production data to identify trends.
• Support plant-wide continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with workflow optimization and equipment layout.
• Prepare quotes for new and existing programs.
• Document processes and update SOPs.
• Aim for safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.
• Investigate new technologies to improve efficiency.
