Job summary

Pangeo Group is seeking an Engineering Manager for Project North PES, a new Vaughan, Ontario plant. You will lead Manufacturing Engineering, plan process routes, equipment, tooling, and fixtures, and drive efficiency, cost, safety, and quality from startup through ramp.

You will manage a hands-on technical team, coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Purchasing, and mentor engineering staff while ensuring IATF 16949 compliance and environmental stewardship.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical management experience in manufacturing.
• Diploma or degree in Casting/Foundry Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with aluminum die casting and machining processes.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949; P.Eng. designation an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and CAD software.
• English required; Mandarin an asset.

Responsibilities

• Plan and determine product process routes, equipment, and tooling design concepts for development and production.
• Provide engineering support for launches and running production programs.
• Lead research and adoption of new process technologies and build internal capability.
• Support quotations and new-process development with engineering input.
• Drive efficiency, cost, safety, and quality through engineering initiatives.
