Dynacast Peterborough is seeking a dedicated customer-focused professional to act as the go-to person for entering and monitoring customer orders, resolving quality and delivery issues, and maintaining the company’s reputation in the market.

You will be the primary liaison for customers, ensuring orders meet minimums, pricing, and revision levels, while coordinating with internal teams to resolve problems and communicate delays. A proactive, detail-oriented team player is essential.

Dynacast Peterborough is known for its multi-slide technology, standard die casting with integrated automation, and IMA (Injected Metal Assembly) precision zinc manufacturing. IMA offers a unique process where precision tooling is combined with metal alloys and is used to join multiple components into a ready-to-use assembly with a single operation. Dynacast Peterborough is dedicated to designing, building, manufacturing, and delivering quality die cast components. Below are additional details about what is offered at the Peterborough location:

• 40 multi-slide proprietary zinc die casting machines ranging from 12 to 21 tons
• Five multi-slide proprietary zinc die casting machines ranging from 70 to 200 tons
• Injected Metal Assembly (IMA) up to one ton
• Precision tool building with in-house capabilities
• Design, prototyping, and modeling services
• Wide range of finishing surfaces available including tumbling, polishing, shot blasting and thermal de-burring
• Cosmetic or protective coating equipment either through certified suppliers or in-house
• Wide range of secondary operations including CNC machining, tapping, reaming, and drilling

About The Role

The purpose of this role is to serve as our customer's designated "Go To Person", to enter and monitor production of customer orders and eliminate the resolution of plant issues regarding quality and delivery problems to maintain Dynacast's reputation in the marketplace.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• To serve as our customer's single point contact in the event of a problem that is not resolved to their satisfaction;
• To ensure customer orders meet minimum order quantity, minimum order value, pricing and current revision level;
• To pro-actively elevate all serious or potentially serious issues related problems in an expeditious manner;
• To liaise, coordinate, communicate and facilitate problem resolution with the necessary functions, to resolve customer issues and communicate production/shipment delays etc.;
• To communicate production/shipment delays, tooling issues etc. to customers;
• To adjust CUM's & schedules per customer demands;
• Follow the Dynacast Quality Policy & Procedures manuals in compliance with IATF requirements;
• Develop meaningful relations with "key" customers, manufacturer representatives, and subcontractors;
• Recommend production requirements to meet customer needs; and
• To be familiar with all Dynacast Sales Policies.

Experience

• Customer service oriented, with above average verbal and written communication skills;
• Above average analytical and problem solving skills;
• A team player with above average organizational and conflict resolution skills;
• Sense of urgency required;
• Working knowledge of QAD or other MRP system (preferred) and Microsoft office products (Excel, Outlook);
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
