Job summary

Casasanta is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR strategy and operations, ensuring compliance and alignment with business priorities. The role is a hands‑on leadership position overseeing recruitment, development and labour relations within a manufacturing environment.

You will partner with senior leadership to optimize workforce planning, policy development and organizational development while managing budgets and ensuring statutory compliance across Ontario.

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or a related discipline.
• CHRL or CPHR designation in good standing with the applicable professional association.
• 7+ years of progressive human resources experience including leadership roles in manufacturing.
• Extensive unionized environment experience including collective bargaining.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and health & safety requirements.
• Experience managing HR budgets, compensation structures and benefits programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for HR, aligning priorities with organizational objectives.
• Advise Executive Team on workforce planning and complex HR matters.
• Lead development and continuous improvement of HR policies, programs, and procedures.
• Oversee employee records, HR budget, and ensure confidentiality and compliance.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, and employee development initiatives.
• Guide management on employee relations, performance issues and workplace conflicts.
