Job summary

Cosmetica Laboratories Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support assigned business functions with workforce planning, recruitment, employee relations, performance, development and engagement.

You will own end-to-end HR matters for your client groups within a manufacturing environment and partner with management to drive people solutions. The role requires CHRP or equivalent experience, Ontario employment knowledge, and 6+ years in HR.

Qualifications

• CHRP designation required or in progress; CHRL designation is an asset.
• Minimum six (6) years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or high-volume environment.
• Demonstrated experience independently managing recruitment, employee relations, investigations, performance matters, accommodations, and organizational change.
• Proven knowledge of Ontario employment legislation, human rights, privacy, WSIB, and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Experience supporting management, leadership, salaried and hourly employees while managing competing, time-sensitive priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with management, leadership and employees in assigned functions.
• Advise on staffing, role clarity, organization design, capability, retention, attendance, engagement, and workforce risk.
• Lead headcount planning, vacancy and skills assessments, succession planning, and action plans.
• Own recruitment for assigned vacancies from requisition to offer and onboarding.
• Coordinate onboarding, changes, promotions, and HRIS updates for assigned client groups.
• Manage leave, accommodations, WSIB, and return-to-work matters with proper documentation and escalation.
