Community Living Hamilton (CLH) is seeking a dynamic Manager, Human Resources to lead People Resources strategies for 1,600 individuals. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role delivers high-quality HR programs, policies and labor relations in a fast-paced social services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Labour Relations or HRM.
• College Diploma/Certificate in HR Management an asset.
• Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) or CHRL Candidate preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive Human Resources Leadership experience in a unionized environment.
• Developmental Services Sector experience an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HR and Scheduling teams and programs.
• Oversee recruitment, performance management and training.
• Ensure policies comply with current laws and regulations.
• Foster collaboration with leaders, staff and union reps.
• Provide guidance on employment inquiries and labor relations.
