Overview

Are you ready to shape the future of cutting-edge technologies? CAES is at the forefront of innovation in defense and aerospace. We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineering Technician to join our team in Lansdale, PA.

As a Manufacturing Engineering Technician, you will work closely with manufacturing and process engineers to implement and maintain methods, operation sequences, and processes for manufacturing or fabricating parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final assemblies. You will interface with assembly line leaders and assemblers on RCCA due to yield issues and coordinate with engineering on training and process improvements.

Responsibilities
  1. Review and audit processes and procedures; develop, organize, and maintain work instructions and process documentation.
  2. Support training and evaluation of assemblers to documented process procedures.
  3. Dispostion non-conforming products, working closely with Manufacturing Engineering to address yield issues.
  4. Identify assembly fixture requirements, defects, and document trends; implement corrective actions.
  5. Provide input, process, and material data into databases; evaluate new materials and supplies for use.
  6. Perform testing of electronic parts and materials; maintain, service, and repair manufacturing and process equipment.
  7. Participate in safety training and comply with safety policies; maintain a clean and safe workstation.
  8. Improve and maintain 6S in your area; suggest improvements.
  9. Participate in Lean/Six Sigma activities to enhance problem-solving across teams.
  10. Collaborate in team meetings and support SET activities as appropriate.
  11. Perform other related duties as assigned.
  12. Operate and maintain FDM 3D printers for prototypes and tooling.

Minimum:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 to 2 years in an electronics manufacturing environment
