Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil seeks a Systems Integration Specialist & Support to act as the SME for Torque Management Systems across all engine facilities. The role involves managing TMS controllers, licenses, documenting best practices, and enabling standardized processes across sites.

Travel up to 50% to Mirabel, Toronto and Lethbridge; work is on-site, Monday to Friday, with collaboration across internal teams and suppliers to uphold manufacturing excellence.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME for the Torque Management System across all assembly sites.
• Manage inventory of TMS controllers and tools; keep licenses tracked.
• Implement best practices, documentation, and cookbooks for TMS systems.
• Collaborate with TMS governance and support long-term vision.
• Drive continuous improvement of integration systems (TMS, induction heating, etc.).
• Serve as contact for TMS Andon systems; monitor performance indicators and take corrective actions.
• Participate in TMS testing through to production implementation.
• Perform other tasks as required.

Job title: Systems Integration Specialist & Support

Reporting directly to a manager who values process improvement and serving as the primary point of contact for torque management systems and other key technical projects, your role will be critical in ensuring system support, implementing best practices, and maintaining standardization across multiple sites. Collaboration with internal teams and suppliers will be essential to succeed in this role and uphold Pratt & Whitney's outstanding reputation in engine assembly and manufacturing.

The position is based at our Longueuil location, from Monday to Friday and exclusively on-site. Travel will be required to various sites, including Mirabel, Toronto and Lethbridge which could be up to 50%.

What will your day-to-day look like?

• Act as a technical expert (Subject Matter Expert SME) for the Torque Management System (TMS) across all assembly sites.
• Manage the inventory of TMS controllers and tools. Ensure systems are updated to the latest version and track the number of licenses.
• Ensure the implementation of best practices, documentation, and the creation of "Cookbooks" (guides) for TMS systems.
• Collaborate with TMS governance and support the long‑term vision.
• Manage multiple initiatives for continuous improvement of integration systems such as TMS, induction heating, and others.
• Serve as the point of contact for TMS Andon systems. Monitor performance indicators (quality, productivity, efficiency, etc.) and apply appropriate measures and solutions.
• Participate in and conduct TMS testing through to production implementation.
• Perform various other tasks as required.

Technical requirements:

• Good Knowledge on Torque Management Services (Torquing methodology, Use of torquing tools etc.)
• Good Knowledge on GD&T.
• Knowledge on Assembly Process Planning.
