Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil is seeking a Production Supervisor – Tool Room to oversee daily tool room operations, drive continuous improvement, and lead a team of machinists, toolmakers and inspectors. The role requires coordinating with multiple functions and ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.
The position is full-time, on-site in Longueuil, with responsibilities spanning training, performance monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration across engine programs.

As Production Supervisor – Tool Room, you will report directly to the Associate Director of the MED and Tooling Services sector which is part of the Longueuil Manufacturing Centre (LMC).
The Tool Room serves several P&WC locations and consists of a team of more than 50 machinists, toolmakers and inspectors. This department offers manufacturing, maintenance and repair services for custom tooling and gauges. Whether for the manufacture of parts, the assembly of engines or for test benches, the team's expertise allows us to offer multiple tooling solutions to meet the needs of internal customers. Stereolithography equipments, commonly known as 3D printing, are also present in the department to complement the services offered. You will be required to collaborate with different groups and partners in the organization.
Your main objective will be to oversee the day-to-day operations as well as manage the department's employees. You will also be required to actively participate in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and projects by encouraging the participation of employees. The mandates associated with the position are varied, enriching and related to various engine programs.
The position is full-time from Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Longueuil and is exclusively on site.
This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, however it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with international customers, suppliers or colleagues.
