Job summary

Malach Metal & Machining in Canada seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to translate customer requirements into efficient, reproducible manufacturing processes. You will design tooling and fixtures, support new product introductions, and work closely with Engineering, Production, Quality, Estimating, and other teams to improve product quality and throughput.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering.
• 3–5+ years of experience in design and/or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T; CAD modeling (SolidWorks) expected; familiarity with tooling, fixtures, gages, and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Review customer orders and drawings to determine manufacturing requirements.
• Identify manufacturability issues and required operations, tooling, and inspections.
• Develop manufacturing methods and tooling fixtures; support NPI and production readiness.
• Provide hands-on engineering support to Production and resolve manufacturing challenges.
