MiTek Canada is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II to guide design and production personnel in meeting manufacturing specifications, budgets, and delivery dates at the Calgary site.

You will set up, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC machining, automated fabrication systems, and programming support for MiTek Automation Machinery, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality and efficiency. On-site role with strong emphasis on safety and process improvement.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering related field with 2–4 years of relevant process improvement or manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Ability to read, interpret and troubleshoot engineering drawings.
• Follow safety guidelines and ensure a safe work environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Own Manufacturing Engineering Design Review of engineering drawings for product and process manufacturability.
• Develop wiring, component assembly, tooling, and fixturing to support Production for product and process manufacturing.
• ERP system maintenance for managing product structures/BOMs, routings and revision levels for MiTek Automation Machinery and parts.
• Work with Quality Engineering to develop capable processes to support and maintain a continuous flow of quality products.
• Identify/Assist, support, and lead actions for implementing cost improvements/lean projects.
• Production floor engagement to exceed 50% of total time.
• Owns use of tooling and processes to assure maximum tool utilization, production capable tolerances, and expedient processing of nonconforming materials.
