Taylor Steel Inc. is seeking a highly organized Customer Service Administrator to join our team in Stoney Creek, ON. You will provide administrative and operational support across Quality, Production, Sales, and Purchasing to ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable learning new software and internal systems.
• 3–5 years of administrative experience in a professional business environment is asset.
• Experience in the steel or manufacturing industry is asset.
• Education: college or university education or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate quality-related activities, including production rejections, inspections, and non-conforming material.
• Support customer and mill claims alongside the Technical Service Coordinator.
• Manage outside processing orders from quotation through reconciliation and costing.
• Maintain inventory records and process material transfers and production postings.
• Support production scheduling by updating schedules and distributing production documentation.
• Prepare reports, analyze data, and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide cross-functional support and backup for other Customer Service functions as needed.
