Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Manager Shop Operations located in Victoria, BC. The Manager Shop Operations will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing the team, handling sales activities, and coordinating machining processes.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team effectively
• Knowledge of the solid surface products as they relate to the construction industry
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus
• Ability to prioritize jobs that are on the go
• Critical thinker that sees an issue and deals with it before it becomes a problem
• Possesses strong interpersonal skills and is able to effectively deal with clients/designers/builders as the point of contact
• Willing to work more than a 40 hour week if the demand is such that they are required
• Leads by example and is able to step in should the need arise
• Ability to tactfully handle employees under their direction
• Has traits of a perfectionist as Stone Age is known for the high level of craftsmanship that the company produces
• Ability to work in a sometimes stressful situation without bringing that stress to the employee's they are responsible for
• Proficiency in CAD as all of the machines that are utilized are computer operated
• MUST BE A CANADIAN CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT OF CANADA AND POSSESS A VALID WORKING VISA AS WELL AS HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENCE
