The Manager, Research Security will be responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing strategies to meet the research security objectives of the University of Regina relating to research and innovation activities. The position will report jointly to the Director, Office of Research Services and Director, Office of Research Partnerships & Innovation. The Manager will serve as a resource to UofR senior leadership (e.g. Deans, Associate Deans Research) for best practices regarding research security, including research partnerships, data governance, and intellectual property. The Manager will ensure awareness, understanding and appropriate application of university and funding agency policies and procedures. The Manager will establish a framework for risk assessments and mitigation plans to assist the UofR research community. Serves the role of Company Security Officer (CSO).
