Description

The Manager – Product Delivery plays a critical leadership role within the Product Organization, overseeing the day-to-day performance, delivery execution, and growth of our Product Owner team. This role ensures that business objectives are clearly translated into user stories, features are developed and released according to agile best practices, and delivery teams remain aligned on sprint priorities, backlog health, and measurable outcomes.

The Manager is a seasoned agile product leader with a deep understanding of scrum methodology, backlog management, and stakeholder collaboration. Working closely with peers across Product, Engineering, and QA, this role drives delivery excellence and product value realization through empowered product ownership.

Advanced English and French proficiency: This requirement is necessary because in this role, you will need to interact with clients, partners, and/or our international subsidiaries on a recurring basis, both orally and in writing.

What that means day-to-day:

Product Ownership & Delivery

  • Lead a team of Product Owners, ensuring clear articulation of product requirements, prioritization of the backlog, and timely delivery of valuable features based on deep understanding of user and adoption data within our products.
  • Establish and maintain agile best practices across product squads, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, story refinement, and retrospectives.
  • Drive accountability for business outcomes by aligning backlog items with OKRs, KPIs, and customer impact.
  • Monitor sprint velocity, story throughput, and team health to support continuous improvement.
  • Partner with Engineering and QA to ensure acceptance criteria, testing requirements, and release readiness are fully defined.

People Leadership

  • Coach and mentor Product Owners in agile practices, customer discovery, stakeholder management, and feature delivery.
  • Provide structured performance feedback and professional development plans to grow product talent within the organization.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and transparency within and across product teams.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the point of escalation for cross-team delivery risks, requirement clarity, or prioritization conflicts.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI, QA, and Engineering to ensure shared understanding of scope, dependencies, and business value.
  • Support alignment between product roadmap initiatives and delivery timelines.

Process & Execution Excellence

  • Enforce consistent backlog hygiene, acceptance documentation, and story decomposition across teams.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline delivery workflows and reduce cycle time.
  • Ensure agile rituals are effective, inclusive, and outcome-driven.

Key Outcomes (First 12–18 Months)

  • Establish consistent standards for backlog management and delivery planning across all Product Owners.
  • Improve sprint velocity and delivery predictability through disciplined agile execution.
  • Build a high-performing team of Product Owners with a strong culture of ownership, collaboration, and customer focus.
  • Strengthen the connection between roadmap strategy and delivery execution, improving visibility into progress and blockers.
  • Serve as a trusted execution partner to Engineering and QA, fostering strong squad-level alignment.
What you’ll need to be successful:
  • Proficiency in English and French languages in both written and oral communication
  • 5+ years of experience in software product ownership or product delivery roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management capacity.
  • Deep knowledge of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience managing product backlogs, defining user stories, and coordinating with cross-functional teams in a SaaS or technology company.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; able to translate between technical and business audiences.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop product team members with a servant-leadership mindset.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; technical or business discipline preferred.
