Our Marketing and Communications team aims to drive innovation and lead in client engagement. We work collaboratively with business partners to enhance client experience and create value at every contact point. We think strategically and align initiatives to meet organizational goals.

Join us as the Manager of Marketing Automation to lead in crafting and executing innovative email marketing and automation strategies that drive success and elevate our brand. You will guide your team and collaborate across functions to turn ideas into impactful campaigns, workflows, and processes that improve client engagement across our insurance and wealth management lines. You will partner with B2C and B2B teams to leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) for seamless lifecycle communications.

How You Will Create Impact

  • Oversee email marketing and automation initiatives via SFMC to enhance client lifetime value and performance. Prioritize incoming requests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to implement effective strategies and recommend improvements for email communications and lead generation.
  • Use a data-driven approach with experimentation and analysis to improve automation efforts.
  • Manage the email subscriber base, ensuring effective targeting, segmentation, personalization, and compliance with CASL and PIPEDA regulations.
  • Develop internal training and provide thought leadership on email marketing best practices and SFMC utilization.
  • Lead, develop, and coach your team, fostering an agile culture aligned with strategic objectives.
  • Support the automation team with processes, workflows, tools, and capabilities for campaign execution.

To Join Our Team
  • 6–9 years of progressive marketing experience, including CRM email marketing and automation leadership.
  • Degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • SFMC certification(s) and knowledge of Salesforce Cloud marketing products.
  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, industry trends, and SFMC enhancements.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation, analytics, and business intelligence concepts.
  • Experience or understanding of insurance and/or financial services distribution is an asset.

  • Occasional travel between Burlington, Guelph, Mississauga, and Toronto offices.
  • Extended hours, including evenings and weekends, may be necessary.
