Technical Marketing Manager - Customer Identity (CIAM)

Join Okta's Product Marketing team as a Technical Marketing Manager (TPMM) to help define the CIAM industry with our Auth0 and Okta platforms. You will build demos, create technical content, and support product launches, showcasing how our identity solutions work for millions of users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build demo apps using Next.js, SDKs, and APIs to demonstrate product capabilities.
  • Develop technical content such as blogs, guides, and demo scripts.
  • Create and record product demos for various media.
  • Collaborate with teams to support launches and customer engagement.
  • Explain platform features and use cases, including authentication and user management.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Okta/Auth0’s CIAM platform.
  • Produce tutorials, sample code, and best practices guides.
  • Present at conferences, webinars, and customer meetings.
  • Translate technical info into marketing materials.
  • Provide technical enablement to sales and partners.
  • Gather feedback to refine messaging and strategies.
  • Stay updated on CIAM trends and technologies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years in product marketing, developer relations, or technical writing, or hands-on app development experience.
  • Experience with web frameworks like Next.js and API/SDK integration.
  • Interest or experience in mobile app development.
  • Ability to explain complex topics simply through various media.
  • Proficiency with design/editing tools like Figma, Adobe Premiere, Camtasia.
  • Strong understanding of web development, APIs, and SDKs.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience creating technical content.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is helpful but not required.
  • Knowledge of identity/access management concepts (OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML) is a plus.
