Definity is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to lead our HR Shared Services team. This role ensures the efficient and effective delivery of HR operational support and exceptional customer service to all employees and managers across the organization. Your Responsibilities:
You will lead a team of HR analysts and coordinator, providing guidance, coaching, and development to optimize performance. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Team Leadership & Development:Lead, mentor, and develop the HR Shared Services team, setting goals and conducting performance reviews, identifying training needs, engagement action planning, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Operational Excellence:Manage the day-to-day operations, including workload allocation, escalation management, and proactive planning with key stakeholders. Ensure seamless support for all HR programs and initiatives.
- Process Improvement:Continuously identify and implement process improvements leveraging technology and best practices to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Project Management & Planning:Lead HRSS projects and initiatives, engaging with key stakeholders when required.
- Collaboration & Partnerships:Collaborate closely with other HR functions (Talent & Culture, Total Rewards, HR Business Partners, HR Operations) to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment on key initiatives and programs.
- Data & Reporting:Track, analyze, and report on key metrics related to team performance, service delivery, and process improvement.
Your Skills & Experience
- Post-secondary education in business or HR (CHRP/CHRL designation is an asset).
- Minimum 8 years-experience in human resources across multiple functional areas with a focus on providing front-line employee/leader support, employee lifecycle transaction processing, HR program delivery
- Minimum 2 years previous people leadership experience with a focus on coaching, mentoring and developing team members
- Proven ability to drive process improvements and leverage technology to optimize efficiency.
- Customer focused approach focusing on employee and leader experience
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong project management skills to plan and execute on work in service of multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a strong ability to influence others
- Strong project management and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud HCM or an equivalent HCM system
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Employee relations experience is an asset
Salary range: $77,100 - $142,000
