Killam Apartment REIT in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 6-month term to support its property management team. The role involves hands-on building maintenance, repairs, and renovations in residential units, with on-call rotation and winter duties.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in a similar role, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and plumbing, electrical, or HVAC experience is a plus. A valid Alberta driver's license and access to a vehicle are required.

We are currently searching for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Edmonton, AB for a 6 month term, until the end of April 2027. What you will do

• Fit and install trim items, such as doors, stairs, molding and hardware
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences
• General maintenance and painting
• Knowledge of plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, etc.
• Participate in an on-call rotation
• Snow removal during winter months
• All other duties as required

What you will bring

• 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Ability to work as part of a team, and also under minimal supervision
• Effective, proven skills and experience
• Renovations experience is considered an asset
• Plumbing, electrical, or HVAC experience is considered an asset
• Must have a valid Alberta driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
