Description :

ATCO Frontec is seeking a Maintenance Technician with frontier spirit to support our emergency response camps in Western Canada. Multiple relief camps are opening, with role details subject to location.

The Maintenance Technician will perform skilled and semi-skilled tasks to maintain camp facilities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Rotation :

• Hour shifts
• Rotation is subject to change based on operational requirements and camp location: days on and days off, or days on and days off

Responsibilities :

• Monitor daily temperature and humidity, report issues to management
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on plumbing systems (leaking faucets, clogged toilets, etc.)
• Perform building repairs including drywall, painting, flooring, carpentry, ceiling tiles and grid
• Complete maintenance service requests as assigned
• Conduct daily site inspections of the camp and mechanical equipment, report problems
• Perform manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments
• Respond quickly to changes in client requirements and amendments
• Ensure operations comply with customer regulations, health and safety legislation, and corporate policies
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs
• Follow health and safety policies and safe work practices
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

• Strong knowledge of safe work practices and procedures in maintenance operations
• Experience with vendor management and customer service focus
• Ability to work safely with hand and power tools and materials
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Outlook
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Professional communication skills (oral and written)
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure
• Effective problem-solving skills
