The Marriott Château Champlain, acquired in 2018 by Tidan, is a prominent hotel located in downtown Montreal, just a minute's walk from the metro and adjacent to the Bell Centre. The hotel features 36 floors, 614 rooms, 13 suites, 25 meeting rooms, and can host up to 1,000 guests. Recently renovated in 2021, it offers a modern and stylish work environment for its team.

Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, the Maintenance Supervisor oversees maintenance activities, ensuring the preservation of the hotel's infrastructure and equipment, and mentors maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
2. Perform daily maintenance tasks, including repairing equipment and systems.
3. Collaborate with the Director of Maintenance to plan and allocate tasks, ensuring 24/7 emergency coverage.
4. Monitor maintenance procedures and schedules.
5. Train and mentor maintenance personnel, ensuring safety standards are met.
6. Manage inventories of spare parts and tools.
7. Work with other departments to incorporate maintenance needs into hotel planning.
8. Identify and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize guest disruptions.
9. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, costs, and team performance.
10. Ensure compliance with safety policies.
11. Participate in coordination meetings to ensure smooth operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

1. Experience in a maintenance role, preferably in hospitality.
