In the late ’60′s and early ’70′s, the company picked up scrap tires and buffings from the local area, ground them up, and manufactured rubber mats. These mats were purchased for use in horse and dairy stalls, ice rinks, gyms, and pick-up truck beds. Over the years, the business has grown and changed from a small, regional manufacturer of crude rubber products to a leading, global recycled rubber manufacturer. Today, North West Rubber is one of the largest rubber mat manufacturers in the world. We are looking for a full‑time permanent Maintenance Supervisor to work in our tire recycling facility in Brantford, Ontario.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for providing day‑to‑day leadership for all maintenance activities within the facility to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of processing equipment and plant infrastructure. This role oversees preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs while supervising maintenance technicians, millwrights, apprentices, and contractors. The ideal candidate possesses extensive hands‑on expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
