Job summary

North West Rubber in Brantford, Ontario, is seeking a motivated Industrial Millwright to join our maintenance team. This full-time role involves supporting the automated plant, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with a seasoned crew.

Applicants should be 3rd or 4th year apprentices with mechanical aptitude, able to work rotating shifts and follow detailed instructions in a team environment. Great benefits and tuition reimbursement are among the advantages.

Qualifications

• Must possess mechanical abilities.
• 3rd or 4th year apprentice level required.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe work practices and safe operation of vehicles, power tools and equipment.
• Assist Millwrights in constructing, installing, repairing and maintaining industrial machinery and robotics.
• Perform preventative maintenance on the fully automated plant.
• Troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment.
• Check communication forms daily regarding repairs needed and document servicing.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts needed to repair machinery.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Be a good team player.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to increase the size of our maintenance department at our Brantford, Ontario manufacturing facility.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Compensation: $35-44

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform safe work practices as well as safe operation of vehicles, power tools and equipment
