Job Description: Maintenance Site Supervisor

Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Maintenance Operations, the Maintenance Site Supervisor assists with the daily coordination of maintenance operations for 14 residence buildings on the Keele Campus. Committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion, the role involves processing work orders and working closely with the Building Operations team by issuing service requests and ensuring timely completion. Additionally, the role assists with planning and resource allocation for daily maintenance to ensure a safe, well-maintained environment.

The residence buildings include:

1. Housing Services residences: 2,000 bed spaces, comprising self-contained suites, single and double rooms, and shared facilities.
2. York Apartment Residences: 1,000 self-contained units across 6 buildings.

The role ensures compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act at York Apartments and collaborates with the Manager, Building Operations, to coordinate contracted services and renewal projects.

Qualifications

Education:

• Post-secondary diploma.

Licenses:

• Class 'G' driver's license in good standing.

Experience:

• At least 1 year of management or supervisory experience.
• Experience in maintenance or facilities services environment.
• Experience using mobile applications.

Skills:

• Knowledge of maintenance systems and quality assurance programs.
• Understanding of interior waste and recycling management.
• Knowledge of building operating systems, equipment, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with electronic access controls.
