Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a talented Maintenance Field Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will work in a demanding environment to benefit the riding population of New York City Transit Buses.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Plan and manage pre-production, field, or shop activities related to installing electrical, communications, and control systems on buses and trains, overseeing subcontractors and suppliers.
• Apply knowledge of installation practices, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and managing scheduling, quality assurance, and testing activities.
• Handle field administration, procurement, and subcontract support, with daily presence on-site and willingness to relocate as needed.
• Develop installation plans, schedules, work requirements, and metrics for subcontractor procurement and evaluation.
• Onboard subcontractors, clarifying performance obligations, safety, quality, and project protocols.
• Document subcontractor activities daily through reports and photographs to track progress, performance, and deficiencies.
• Lead and oversee subcontractors to meet project milestones, coordinate schedules, and resolve issues.
• Monitor cost performance, process change orders, and review pay applications, maintaining tracking measures.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with quality control plans and coordinate with quality assurance and safety teams.
• Support safety program adherence, review safety performance, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Implement company and client policies, including labor relations.
• Perform additional responsibilities as appropriate.

Required Skills:

• Associate's Degree (preferred) and 10+ years of experience in construction or shop production.
• Experience in mass transportation vehicle construction or industrial projects is preferred.
• IPC-620 certification required (can be obtained after employment).

Additional Information:

This position does not require security clearance. It is part of our Critical Infrastructure team, dedicated to designing and delivering vital community projects worldwide.

Salary Range: $35.05 - $61.35 per hour.
