Job summary

Canadian Tire Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler to develop and manage maintenance schedules for preventative maintenance and reliability. You will coordinate between Operations, Supervisors, and contractors to ensure safe, efficient work with minimal disruption to production.

The role requires 3+ years in maintenance scheduling, knowledge of CMMS like Maximo, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years maintenance scheduling experience in distribution centre, manufacturing, industrial, or facilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain maintenance work schedules using approved work orders, PM requirements, labor availability, and priorities.
• Schedule and coordinate contractors performing preventative maintenance and inspection services.
• Build and issue multi-day maintenance work packages tailored to crew resources and priorities.
• Coordinate work package content with stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient execution.
• Balance workloads based on manpower, contractor availability, and operational constraints.
• Provide Supervisors with planned work to maintain schedule flexibility and PM compliance.
• Communicate contractor schedules to Operations and stakeholders.
• Track completion of contractor activities and reschedule as needed.
• Monitor progress and support development of future work packages.
