IKO Industries Ltd. in Brampton, Ontario, is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate, plan and schedule work orders, ensuring parts availability and safety.

You will work with production, engineering and reliability teams to optimize maintenance activities and keep CMMS data up to date. The role requires 2-5 years CMMS planning experience, a mechanical/electrical background, and a post-secondary degree.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years planning/scheduling experience with CMMS.
• Mechanical/electrical background and ability to read blueprints.
• Post-secondary degree/diploma.
• Strong communication, leadership, and math skills.
• Organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Review work requests for accuracy and approve as needed.
• Coordinate with Production to prepare assets for maintenance.
• Ensure parts are identified, secured and properly kitted.
• Provide job estimates and track labor hours.
• Lead weekly planning meetings for line shutdowns.
• Maintain CMMS data and generate reports.
• Backlog management based on equipment criticality.
• Collaborate with Reliability Team and other plants.
