Lantic is currently hiring for the position of Maintenance Planner at the Montreal refinery. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for planning and scheduling preventive and corrective maintenance work, as well as planned production shutdowns.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or college diploma (DEC) or vocational diploma (DEP) in a maintenance-related field.
• Five (5) years of experience in a similar position.
• Knowledge of computerized maintenance management (CMMS) software.
• Knowledge of Maximo software (an asset).
• Experience in the food industry (an asset).
• Experience in an unorganized environment (an asset).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt easily to change.
• Ability to manage stress.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, and coordinate maintenance, modifications, and project work in collaboration with the operations department.
• Participate in the development and implementation of an active preventive maintenance program and ensure its distribution according to established frequencies and completion.
• Take on systems automation as a main responsibility in order to quickly obtain performance indicators for the maintenance department.
• Implement simple tools with the IT department to allow trade employees to close work orders directly.
• Collect, compile, and analyze performance data related to maintenance, equipment breakdowns, work completed, etc.
• Participate in the development and training of unionized staff and maintenance supervisors.
