Job summary

Smurfit Westrock in Mississauga, ON, is seeking a Maintenance Millwright 433A to perform daily maintenance tasks, building repairs and projects with minimal supervision. You will support all departments as needed.

The role requires a 433A millwright license, a high school diploma, and at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, including building repairs, cleaning and landscaping. Strong communication and a Can‑Do attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma.
• Possess a valid Millwright 433A license.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in industrial maintenance including building repairs, cleaning, landscaping.
• Be physically capable of bending, pushing and lifting up to 30lbs.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess a Can Do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Performs minor plumbing repairs and installations.
• Assists with periodic sprinkler system testing.
• Maintains the grounds maintenance including, debris cleanup, removing snow, and ice.
• Performs routine painting, light bulb changes and other related maintenance.
• Trims shrubbery and cultivates flower beds in season.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
