Job summary

Kelly Services is partnering with a leading food manufacturing company to hire skilled Maintenance Mechanics across Mississauga, Vaughan, and Woodbridge. The role focuses on providing mechanical support, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous plant operation.

You will repair and maintain processing and packaging equipment, work with cross-functional teams, and use CMMS/SAP for work orders.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of Health & Safety and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

Repair, install, modify, and maintain machinery and equipment in processing and packaging environments.
Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective, timely solutions.
Perform preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and major equipment overhauls.
Operate machine shop equipment including drill presses, grinders, and saws.
Assist with equipment setup, takedown, and relocation.
Support production teams with equipment troubleshooting and changeovers.
Complete shift reports and work orders using CMMS (SAP).
Order and track parts and support inventory management.
