Job summary

Piston Automotive in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking an Industrial Millwright to perform maintenance and repairs across production facilities. You will handle preventive maintenance, troubleshoot hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and electrical controls, and support PLC troubleshooting and small electrical projects.

The role requires a certified Millwright with strong mechanical skills and safety focus, offering competitive wages and benefits.

Qualifications

Certified Industrial Millwright with 3–5 years of equivalent experience.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors and rotating equipment.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Commitment to workplace safety and basic office computing skills.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment including lubrication, hydraulics, electricals and controls.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic issues and powered conveyance systems.
Troubleshoot pneumatic systems, valving and robotic end effectors as needed.
Assist in PLC troubleshooting and simple program changes.
Modify and repair electrical circuits up to 120V-15A.
Support larger electrical projects and building repairs as required.
Use LOTO procedures and report safety hazards immediately.
Maintain lifting devices and ensure equipment reliability.
