Job summary

State in Vaughan, Ontario is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform daily machine repairs and preventive maintenance in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical systems, replace control devices, and maintain maintenance documentation for on-site operations with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Post Secondary education in electrical or mechanical related courses.
• Technical Trades Training / Licensed Millwright (433a) with Canadian Apprenticeship preferred.
• 5+ Years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all building maintenance.
• Repair or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, contactors, starters, etc.
• Perform work order repairs, inspection, adjustments, and calibrations.
• Maintain and update Down-Time Tracker and preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure safety, documentation and communication of repairs with Production.

Education
