Position Overview

The maintenance mechanic will work with minimal supervision and demonstrate a high level of proficiency.

What You Will Do

• Maintain and operate various company vehicles for maintenance and aircraft towing.
• Operate mobile cranes and forklifts for lifting aircraft components, materials, machinery, and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair faults on vehicles, machinery, and mechanical equipment.
• Perform inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Keep accurate logbooks of vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• Assist maintenance team members with various tasks.
• Provide on-the-job training to other maintenance personnel.
• Participate in training for skill development.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, complying with safety regulations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring

• Proven mechanical experience with industrial machinery and vehicles.
• Provincial Journeyman Mechanic License is an asset.
• Familiarity with welding, acetylene equipment, maintenance tools, diagnostic testing, lifting and towing equipment, and PPE.
• Willingness to obtain a “Class B” Boom Truck Operator’s License if required.
• Completion of one year of work experience and all OJT performance objectives to reach the top classification.

Must be eligible for Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), U.S. ITAR, and Canadian security clearances.
