Job summary

Chartwell Southwind Retirement Residence is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee general maintenance, servicing and repairs of the residence, equipment, furnishings and grounds, ensuring a safe environment for residents, visitors and staff.

You will build relationships with residents and staff, perform preventative maintenance, and contribute to a home-like, well-maintained living environment through collaborative operation of the residence.

• Ensure the repair and maintenance needs of the residents are serviced in a timely manner.

Job description

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the general maintenance, servicing and repair operations to maintain the residence, equipment, furnishings, fixtures and the surrounding grounds in proper condition. Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, visitors and other staff members.
