Job summary

Chartwell Retirement Residences in Ontario is seeking a Maintenance Aide to perform semi-skilled duties across electrical, heating, mechanical, and plumbing systems and support general upkeep of the retirement residence.

You will build memorable relationships with residents and colleagues, ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner, and perform preventative maintenance to keep the residence clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• Experience in basic electrical, heating, mechanical or plumbing maintenance.
• Ability to build relationships with residents.
• Strong interest in providing a great resident experience.

The Maintenance Aide performs semi-skilled maintenance duties related to electrical, heating, mechanical and plumbing systems and building equipment. Performs a variety of duties related to the general maintenance of the Retirement Residence and may assist with construction projects.
