Job summary

The Berezan Hospitality Group is hiring a Part-Time Maintenance Helper for the Chances Salmon Arm team. The role typically involves 2–3 days per week with potential extra days for janitorial duties. You’ll work under the Maintenance Manager on maintenance tasks and safety procedures to keep the property in top shape.

We value hands-on, reliable individuals who can lift, climb, and work outdoors. You must be 19 or older and able to pass a criminal background check, enjoying a supportive team

Responsibilities

• Assist with general building maintenance and upkeep under supervision.
• Perform grounds maintenance and property upkeep.

• Safely perform lifting and other physical tasks as required.
• Keep a clean, safe and welcoming environment on property.
• Help with janitorial duties including cleaning and floor care.

We are currently hiring a Part-Time Maintenance Helper to join our Chances Salmon Arm team. This position will typically involve 2–3 days per week, with the possibility of an additional day assisting with janitorial duties.

As a Maintenance Helper, you will work under the supervision of our Maintenance Manager to support ongoing building maintenance and upkeep. If you enjoy hands‑on work, take pride in a job well done, and are comfortable working independently while following direction, we want to hear from you!

What you will be doing

• Assist with general building maintenance, repairs, and upkeep under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.
• Perform grounds maintenance and general property upkeep.
• Assist with painting, pressure washing, and other maintenance projects.
• Safely perform physical tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working with maintenance equipment as required.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the property.
• Assist with janitorial duties as needed, including cleaning, sanitizing, garbage removal, and floor care.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures, including WorkSafeBC and WHMIS requirements.
• Perform other duties as required to support operational needs.
