Job summary

MacLeod Cares Annapolis Royal Nursing Home in Annapolis Royal, NS, is seeking a Maintenance Worker to safeguard residents' safety and comfort by carrying out preventative maintenance and essential repairs. You will manage building and grounds upkeep to a high standard.

The successful candidate will have at least three years of maintenance experience, WHMIS certification, a valid driver’s license, and strong problem‑solving abilities.

As a Maintenance Worker, you play a vital role in ensuring our Residents live in a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained home environment. You will be responsible for the care and upkeep of the building and grounds, performing or scheduling preventative maintenance and minor repairs to ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and welcoming for Residents, families, and team members.

• Experience in building operations and maintenance (preferred)
• WHMIS certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
